Summary: My husband and two kids (7 and 10) stayed for 9 days. It was the perfect location to explore Iceland. We drove to Jokulsarlon one day, which was a long day but do-able. Otherwise most of the things we wanted to see were 2 hr drive or less. The cabin was really clean and was super kid friendly. My boys loved the in-ground trampoline. There is no clothes dryer, but plenty of line space outside and a folding rack. Thankfully we didn’t have a lot of rain and had no problem hanging out clothes to dry.
